About: St Luke’s Welcomes
In spring of this year, a few of us in St Luke’s, Cork City, got together over a drink and chatted about how we’d really like to welcome refugees into our community.
Not just by saying “welcome”; but by supporting refugees arriving in Ireland to find a home, register with schools and doctors and social services and by connecting them with the lovely folk of St Luke’s.
St Luke’s Welcomes is supported by Nasc, the Migrant and Refugee Rights Centre.
This Wellness Day hosted by Wild Atlantic Way Yoga is part of the fundraising programme whereby all proceeds go to St Luke’s Welcomes.
