Karen is a 200 hour yoga alliance certified teacher, and has been teaching full-time since 2015. Prior to this she worked in IT, office-bound for 15 years, and now in her classes likes to explore aspects that encourage us to open up and release, countering the effects of sitting, and of everyday modern life. She teaches vinyasa flow, yin and restorative classes, at times bringing in elements of pilates and/or meditation.She believes that yoga is for everyone, no matter what age or fitness, and encourages acceptance of where you are rather than focusing on goals. Her classes are strong and challenging, but with an element of light-heartedness and fun, helping students to increase their confidence, discover their potential and most importantly to be happy and healthy.

Treat yourself to a day off!!
We’ll start with a morning stretch, enjoy some tasty food, a walk along the Wild Atlantic Way and finish with some deep relaxation.
9.30am: Arrive and have some herbal tea with energy balls/raw chocolate treats.
10am: 2-hour Vinyasa Flow Yoga Class
12pm: Brunch, fruit pot with yogurt, granola, brown scones and hot drinks.
12.45pm: Walk along the wonderful Wild Atlantic Way
2.pm: Restorative Yoga
3pm: Light lunch, ie vegetarian Pizza plus salad, cake and tea/coffee.
3.45pm: Yoga Nidra (Deep Relaxation meditation)
This Day Retreat is suitable for all levels of Yoga experience as there is a focus on overall wellness. Tickets are non- refundable and non transferable.
